Music and Movement

Music leads to movement.

It is hard to listen to music without moving in some way, even if it's just your fingers and toes.  Movement promotes the development of fine and gross motor skills, agility, balance,  co-ordination and strength, as well as spatial and body awareness.

Music is one way that children can interact with their environment. As they move and explore the children can further develop their sense of belonging, being and becoming.
