Children who turn three are able to attend the beginners classes at Aurora. The department of Education and Early Childhood Development offer transport to eligible families by using minitaxis to transport the children to and from Aurora.
Each child has their own car seat and is welcomed to Aurora each morning by Aurora Staff. At the end of their session they are escorted to the minitaxi by staff and delivered to their home.

Early Intervention programs are available to families of children, living anywhere in Victoria, aged from birth until school entry who have a confirmed bilateral hearing loss and who are eligible for the provision of Early Intervention.
Aurora’s Early Intervention program is funded through the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. We are a bilingual, statewide, home visiting program for young deaf children and their families. Our program includes deaf children with additional needs.
Aurora Early Education offers support to deaf children and their families in a centre based program. Our overall aim is to enable children to maximize their development, particularly their communication, in a safe and secure environment with the support of their teachers and the children who participate with them.
We share knowledge and skills with families, provide support and promote an understanding of the impact of a hearing loss.
Aurora has two two bedroom flats on the school premises for use of parents of children enrolled with Aurora Early Education . To stay in these flats please contact Aurora on 88789878. Cost is $20 per night.
